SGAC Info

What Is the Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC)?

The Singapore Arrival Card (SG Arrival Card) is part of the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority’s initiative to introduce paperless immigration clearance. Under the “New Clearance Concept,” it aims to automate the immigration clearance process for all travelers.

Who Is Required to Submit the Singapore Arrival Card?

With the exception of Singapore residents entering through land checkpoints, all travelers entering Singapore by sea, land, or air must submit an electronic arrival card within the three-day period that includes their arrival date—either on the day of arrival or during the two preceding days.

When Can I Apply for the SGAC?

The SGAC may be submitted within the three-day period that includes your date of arrival. You may submit your application to us earlier; however, if you apply in advance, you will receive your completed SGAC no earlier than two days before your arrival date.

The “three-day period including your date of travel” means the day of travel and the two preceding days. For example, if you are traveling on May 3, the earliest date on which you can receive your SGAC is May 1.

What Information Is Included in the SGAC?

The SGAC generally includes basic personal information such as your full name, nationality, passport number, and date of birth. It also includes travel information such as your intended length of stay, accommodation address, and purpose of travel.

How Should I Keep My SGAC?

Once your SGAC has been completed, a PDF copy will be sent to you by email. Please print it and carry it with you during your journey in case you are asked to present or use it.

Are There Any Passport Requirements When Applying for the SGAC?

When applying for the SGAC and entering Singapore, your passport must have more than six months of remaining validity.
